The rules for using LabCast+
Terms of Use
Last updated October 16, 2026
These terms govern your use of the LabCast+ application, website, and LabCast+ Unlock.
Acceptance
By using LabCast+, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.
Podcasts and their publishers
LabCast+ plays podcasts published by others. Feeds, episodes, artwork, show notes and transcripts come directly from each podcast’s publisher and host, and remain theirs. Lab Architect does not produce, host, license or endorse any podcast, and is not responsible for a podcast’s content or availability. Directory results come from Apple’s podcast directory.
LabCast+ Unlock
- LabCast+ Unlock, when offered, is sold through Apple’s App Store and Google Play at the price displayed before purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account or Google account when the purchase is confirmed.
- Purchases can be restored on your other devices on the same store from the LabCast+ Unlock screen. A purchase made through one store does not unlock the app on the other.
App Store purchases and refunds are subject to Apple’s terms and policies; Google Play purchases and refunds are subject to Google’s.
Acceptable use
Use LabCast+ for personal listening. Do not use it to download or redistribute content you are not authorized to use, or in a way that violates law or another person’s rights.
Availability and changes
Features may change for security, legal compliance, platform requirements, or product operation. Material term changes will be posted here with a revised date.
Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LabCast+ is provided “as is” and “as available.” Playback and downloads depend on each podcast’s host. Liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Open-source software
LabCast+ includes software licensed under the Apache License 2.0, including code derived from Sylvakru, and other open-source components such as mpv and FFmpeg. Licence notices are available in the app.
Apple terms
For the iOS application, Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for LabCast+ or its support. Use of the app is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
